1. Cancellation Policy
Booking confirmation: To confirm your reservation, we require a 50% deposit of the total booking amount, payable by bank deposit or bank transfer.
Remaining balance: The remaining amount must be paid upon arrival by card (single payment) or PIX.
Cancellation up to 30 days before arrival: The amount paid will be refunded. For payments made by credit card, a 5% fee will be deducted. For payments made via PIX, the amount paid will be refunded.
Agency and group bookings: For reservations made through travel agencies or for groups, a 20% fee will be charged in the event of cancellation up to 30 days before arrival.
Cancellation less than 29 days before arrival: The deposit paid will not be refunded.
No-show (failure to arrive without prior notice): The full amount of the reservation will be charged.
2. Suspension of Activities
If Bioma EcoLodge needs to suspend its activities due to force majeure, such as drought, natural disasters, or other circumstances that make operations impossible, the amount paid will be converted into credit.
The credit may be used by the traveler within 24 months toward any Bioma EcoLodge package, subject to availability.
Bioma EcoLodge is not responsible for any refunds, expenses, compensation, or other costs related to airline tickets.
3. What's Included in the Package
Accommodation: Stay in a comfortable chalet overlooking the rainforest or river. A minimum stay of two nights applies.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner featuring traditional Amazonian cuisine. Beverages are not included.
Eco-tours: Rainforest trails, canoe trips, wildlife and plant observation, and visits to riverside communities.
Bilingual guide (optional): Available for R$ 400.00 per day. This is the total daily rate for groups of up to 10 people.
4. Transfer Service
Our standard transfer service operates daily between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
The journey to Bioma EcoLodge takes place in two stages:
Approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes in an air-conditioned vehicle;
Approximately 45 minutes by speedboat to Bioma EcoLodge.
Guests will be picked up directly from their hotel in Manaus. The driver will contact guests via WhatsApp once on the way, within the stated time window.
For transfers outside the standard schedule or customized transfers at a specific time, such as airport arrivals, an additional fee of R$ 500.00 will be charged for a private transfer.
For safety reasons related to visibility on the river, we do not provide any transfers after 3:00 PM.
If a guest's flight arrives after this time, they will need to stay overnight in Manaus and travel to the lodge the following day. Accommodation in Manaus is the guest's responsibility.
Outbound transfer: Departure from Manaus between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
Return transfer: Departure from the lodge at 9:00 AM, with estimated arrival in Manaus around 12:00 PM.
Meeting point: Hotel or airport in Manaus, as specified in the reservation.
5. Check-in and Check-out
Check-in: From 9:00 AM.
Check-out: By 9:00 AM, with departure from the lodge to Manaus at the same time.
6. Children's Policy
Children up to 9 years old: Pay 50% of the full rate applicable to an additional guest. A maximum of one child is allowed per accommodation.
Children aged 10 and over: Pay the full rate applicable to an additional guest.
7. Essential Items to Bring
We recommend that guests bring:
Lightweight and comfortable clothing, preferably quick-drying, including long pants and long-sleeved shirts;
Binoculars for birdwatching;
Raincoat or rain poncho;
Sneakers or hiking boots suitable for trails;
Insect repellent;
Sunscreen and a hat;
Flashlight for nighttime excursions or poorly lit areas;
Reusable water bottle;
Personal medications, including any required for allergies or specific conditions;
Cash for purchases in riverside communities.
