Jungle Trail

Our flooded forests, subject to flooding during rainy seasons, have unique characteristics, and our native and experienced guides will be at your side, attentive to the slightest movements, so that you don't miss any detail. Tour through the Igapós
It is usually the first activity we offer at our hotel. The tour is conducted in authentic regional rowing canoes. These wooden canoes are widely used by riverside dwellers in the region as a means of transport. This will be a great opportunity for you to learn how to use an oar like a true riverside dweller. During the tour, there are good chances of seeing animals such as monkeys and sloths, as well as several species of birds. Don't forget to bring your binoculars to enjoy the wildlife even more! (Note: the presence of igapós only occurs during the flood months, between May and July).

Visit to the Flour
House
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to visit the "flour shed", also known as the flour house. Due to the acidity of the Rio Negro waters and its consequent lack of minerals, soil cultivation is more challenging. However, cassava becomes an essential product, from which the caboclos extract, in addition to flour, several other by-products, such as tapioca, bejú, tucupi and gum, which are frequent ingredients in homes in the Amazon region. These products are essential for the sustenance of local communities and reflect the rich culture and traditions present in the Amazon.
Amazon Soaps and Essences Workshop
